Dear [livejournal.com profile] yuletide author!

First of all - hi! I'm really excited to be receiving a gift in this exchange from you. To make things rather brief, let me tell you that I will be absolutely happy with anything you create for me; what matters the most is that you are happy and comfortable with your piece. I, however, am a complete sucker for anything dark-ish, mysterious and particularly angsty (angst is my crack while pure fluff is not something I usually read, Crueltide is the keyword).

Generally I'm pretty open for anything, just please try to stay away from heavy graphic torture (including mutilation and the like as well as overly gory, graphic descriptions), PWP fics (I am generally not a huge lover of smut fic, so if you choose to stay away from it completely, that's perfectly fine with me!) m-preg, kinks such as watersports or scat, crossovers in general and extreme AUs (a good example for that would be modern!AU in the ASOIAF fandom which of course doesn't apply to Yuletide but should give an idea of what I mean). Otherwise, anything else is game!

Dear [livejournal.com profile] trickortreatex Creator!

first of all - hello! ♥ I am very excited to be getting to know you in the near future; thank you so much in advance for creating my gift - I am very much looking forward to reading it. What I would like you to know is that, to me, it is most important that what you write or create is something you are comfortable with and that you enjoy writing/creating the art; you will find a list of things I love below, but these are merely suggestions, because no matter what direction you end up going to, I sure am going to love it!

GENERAL:
I love angst. Anything angsty, really, angst is my crack and my favourite thing to read in fanfiction. Angsty art is also amazing, though! I have to say that, while I adore dark pieces in general, I am not fond of the extremes; so I'd prefer if there were no highly graphic stuff - no heavy torture or kinks (including PWP, m-preg, mutilation, etc) please, if possible! What I do not enjoy as much either are extreme AUs (i.e. modern!AU for ASOIAF, which is something I highly avoid - I didn't request it, but it's always a good example) and crossovers (except for maybe a Narcissa Malfoy / Catelyn Stark or Druella Black / TV!Morticia Addams fic because those would be amazing), nor do I like very fluffy fluff in the written word a lot. It doesn't have to be all darkness, destruction and gloom (unless you want it to be!), but 100% fluff is not something I particularly enjoy reading. Looking at it is great, though, I love adorable fluffy artwork! I do have a very soft spot for hurt/comfort and hints of romance in an angsty/dark piece, though.

So, you see that I generally prefer Tricks over Treats, even though I did request Treats in some of the fandoms. Again, though, whatever you choose to go with, whether it's a Trick or a Treat, I am super excited to receive my gift and will absolutely adore it!

GENERAL THINGS
This would usually be the point where I once again declare my eternal love to angst - but looking at the nature of this exchange, I don't think that I need to mention it. I will say, however, that I am not a friend of extremes, most of all the graphic ones. For example: Torture is not necessarily a squick/trigger of mine, I think in certain fandoms I even requested it, mentions of blood are all right as well, but as soon as it turns heavily graphic I'm out. PLEASE, if you choose to write/create something related to this, refrain from things such as mutilation, and other very graphic and extreme things. The same counts for kinks - please no heavy kinks such as PWP or m-preg, either! I am also no true fan of crossovers, but otherwise I am open for many things!

It was pretty difficult for me to pick only twenty additional tags per fandom, but I put great thought into choosing them - more detail in the respective fandom categories, though! If you find that you'd like to add something else to your piece, here is a list of my favourite additional tags that just did not make it into my official requests because I ran out of space.

24 hours left to live, abandonment, abuse, alcohol abuse, amnesia, anorexia, anxiety, attempted rape, bad ending, beating, betrayal, blackmail, character death, character is dead and doesn’t know it, chronic pain, depression, despair, drug addiction, dysfunctional family, eating disorders, emotional hurt, emotional manipulation, enduring pain to protect another, euthanasia, ghosts, grief/mourning, guilt, haunting, hearing voices, imprisonment, incest, insanity, jealousy, loneliness, loss of control , loss of senses, major character injury, major illness, medical trauma, memory loss, mental breakdown , mental health issues, mercy killing, nightmares, not happy, obsession, pain, permanent injury, poison, post-traumatic stress disorder, presumed death, psychological thriller, psychological torture, psychological trauma, rape, rape aftermath, rape and recovery, rape recovery, recovery process after torture, self-harm, self-hatred, self-sacrifice, suicidal thoughts, suicide, suicide attempt, torture, war

GENERAL
I love angst. Anything angsty, really, angst is my crack and my favourite thing to read (or listen to, in case you are a Podficcer! Podfic will/would be fantastic! :D) in fanfiction. Angsty art is also amazing, though! Just... Angst. I have to say that, while I adore dark pieces in general, I am not fond of the extremes; so I'd prefer if there were no highly graphic stuff - no heavy torture or kinks (including PWP, m-preg, mutilation, etc) please, if possible! Again, whatever you are comfortable with writing is great), but 100% fluff is not something I particularly enjoy reading/listening to. Looking at it is great, though, I love adorable fluffy artwork! I do have a very soft spot for hurt/comfort and hints of romance in an angsty/dark piece, though.

First of all - hi! I'm really excited to be receiving a gift in this exchange from you. To make things rather short, let me tell you that I will be absolutely happy with anything you create for me; what matters the most is that you are happy and comfortable with your piece.

I, however, am a complete sucker for anything dark-ish, mysterious and particularly angsty (angst is my crack while pure fluff is not something I usually read), and due to the nature of Halloween - I adore anything Halloween related except spiders - my preference would lean more towards the darker section. As I said, though, what matters is that you're comfortable and I will be perfectly happy with everything. Go with whatever strikes your fancy.

Generally, I'm pretty open for anything, just please try to stay away from anything extreme. No hard kinks, no extreme torture or gore (including PWP, m-preg, mutiliation, etc). Something I'm not overly fond of either are extreme AUs (see modern!AU for ASOIAF) or crossovers with very, very few exceptions (i.e. a Narcissa/Catelyn crossover), and that's about it.
